Andrei Conțiu, MSc, is a horticultural engineer and IT project manager.
He graduated from the Faculty of Horticulture at the University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest (USAMV), where he also completed a master’s degree in Biodiversity Conservation Management.

Since 2001, he has been involved in the design and development of ERP systems.
Starting in 2017, he has combined life sciences with information technology in an interdisciplinary manner, focusing particularly on biodiversity, environmental sustainability, and ecological horticulture practices.

He is currently a PhD candidate at the Faculty of Horticulture, USAMV Bucharest, conducting research in integrated pest management with an emphasis on conservative biological control.
